We had a beautiful day for our June field trip to York, ME. We started our day at the Old York Historical Library and Archives, where we got to see, touch, and hear about some older hooked pieces they have. We then proceeded to a member’s home to sit outside and at the barn and in the gardens.  Some Seacoast Ruggers joined us. Beautiful day to hook and caught up with old friends! 

Our meeting in May brought us new Board members for VP/Programming: Rachel Johns, Communications: Alice Jack, Treasurer: Theresa Jack, Librarians: Amy Kaplan & Pat Laska, but we were not able to confirm President. With a short business meeting over homemade strawberry shortcake a voted to approve Sara Salisbury as our 2026-2028 President was taken. Our officers for 2026-2028 are all in place.

Emily also reminded us of Cumberland Fair (check the menu for Cumberland Fair info links) . Online registration is open for your hooked pieces, remember to consider signing up to demonstrate, and reach out to Emily with any questions!  Our next planned communication will be in August!  Happy Summer!
